Eliza Outtrim
Eliza Shirley Outtrim (born July 18, 1985) is an athlete on the United States Ski Team, U.S. Ski Team; she competes in the freestyle skiing events of mogul skiing, moguls and mogul skiing, dual moguls. Early years Outtrim grew up in Hamden, Connecticut, and when she was young she skied at Mount Snow, Vermont, where she joined the freestyle ski team. Later, she attended the Lowell Whiteman School in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Steamboat Springs, Colorado and trained with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, both of which, the school and the ski team, have produced many Olympic skiers. She attended college while skiing on the US Ski Team, graduating from Colorado College. United States Ski Team Outtrim earned a spot on the US Ski Team in 2005, after she tied for second in the Nor-Am Cup moguls rankings. FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 2011
The 2011 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships were held at Deer Valley Resort, together with Park City Mountain Resort. The 2011 FIS Freestyle World Championships took place from January 30 until February 7, 2011, and included aerials, moguls, dual moguls and ski cross competitions at Deer Valley Resort and the slopestyle and ski halfpipe competitions at Park City Mountain Resort. Stratton Mountain Resort
Stratton Mountain Resort is a ski area in the northeastern United States, located on Stratton Mountain in Stratton, Vermont, east of Manchester. History Stratton was established in December 1961 with three double chairlifts and a three-story base lodge. Although the mountain was top notch, the access road was a disaster; it was paved in 1962, prior to the second season, and two T-bar lifts were added in 1963 for the third season. A big expansion took place for the 1964–65 season when the Snow Bowl was opened, bringing a double chairlift and over of terrain. Another double chairlift was opened and the base lodge was expanded for the 1966–67 season, giving way to the birth of European style après-ski entertainment by the Innsbruck Trio, a group of Austrian ski instructors. Heather McPhie
Heather McPhie (born May 28, 1984) is an American freestyle moguls skier. She competed for the US Olympic Team at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. McPhie earned the Olympic team spot with a 2nd-place finish at the FIS World Cup event at Deer Valley in January 2010. At the 2007 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships McPhie finished in 8th place in moguls, and 9th in duals. Early life McPhie grew up skiing with her family in Bozeman, Montana. Both her parents were ski instructors. She is a great-granddaughter of the founders of Eagle's Store. She was a gymnast until age twelve. She always loved mogul skiing so when she stopped gymnastics, her parents signed her up for the Bridger Freestyle Ski Team. Margarita Marbler
Margarita Marbler (born July 16, 1975) is a retired Austrian freestyle moguls skier, originally from Russia. She's been included in three Winter Olympic Games; at Salt Lake City, Turin and Vancouver. She has competed in both the Moguls and Dual Moguls event, as well as the Acrobatics and Aerials events. Marbler uses Elan skis, Dalbello Boots and Exel ski poles. Professional career FIS World Cup and Championships Marbler made her debut at the International Youth Championship event on March 6, 1994 in Laajavuori, Finland in both the Aerials and Moguls event. Hannah Angela Kearney (born February 26, 1986) is an American mogul skier who won a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Personal life Kearney was born in Norwich, Vermont to Jill (née Gass) and Tom Kearney. They met while attending McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She grew up and still lives in Norwich, Vermont. Kearney graduated from Hanover High School. Her mother is active in promoting youth sports as the director of the Town of Norwich Recreation Department.
