Elisabeth Bang
Elisabeth Bang (26 September 1922 – 28 September 2009) was a Norwegian actress. She was born in Skedsmo in Akershus, Norway. During World War II, she made her stage debut at Bærum Studiescene where she also met her future husband actor Pål Skjønberg (1919–2014). They married in 1946, and as such Bang became a daughter-in-law of actor Eugen Skjønberg (1889–1971) and stage director Henny Skjønberg (1886–1973) and sister-in-law of actor Espen Skjønberg. She was employed at Det Nye Teater from 1945 to 1946, Det Norske Teatret from 1946 to 1948, the Nationaltheatret from 1948 to 1950 and again at Det Norske Teatret from 1952. She also appeared in films. Bang made his film debut in ''Englandsfarere'' (1946) directed by Toralf Sandø (1899–1970). She played a social worker in ''Det brenner i natt!'' (1955). Skedsmo
Skedsmo was a municipality in Akershus county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality was the town of Lillestrøm. About one third of the municipal population lived in Lillestrøm. Other important towns are Skedsmokorset, Skjetten and Strømmen. A smaller settlement adjoining Lillestrøm is Kjeller. The local newspaper is ''Romerikes Blad'' (circulation 39,139 in 2004). The paper comes out daily. Skedsmo municipality became part of Lillestrøm municipality 1 January 2020. ''Vi vil skilles'' (We Want a Divorce) is a Norway, Norwegian comedy film from 1952 directed by Nils R. Müller. This was one of several "marriage comedies" in the 1950s and was a kind of sequel to ''Vi gifter oss'' (We're Getting Married), also directed by Müller. Arne Fjelberg, the priest at Uranienborg Church, played a priest in this film. The film starred Randi Kolstad and Espen Skjønberg. Plot Ola and Bitten get married after a very short courtship. They buy a house together, but the house is much more expensive than they can really afford. Plot The young student Steffen Berg has difficulty adapting to society's laws and rules. After interrupting his medical studies, he starts working in a shop to support his family together with his brother Jørgen and his sister Gerda, and to keep his mother from moving to a retirement home. Bærum () is a municipality in the Greater Oslo Region in Norway that forms an affluent suburb of Oslo on the west coast of the city. ''Himmel og helvete'' (Heaven and Hell) is a Norwegian propaganda film from 1969 directed by Øyvind Vennerød with a screenplay by Vennerød and Victor Borg. The film was poorly received by the critics, but it nonetheless became one of the highest-grossing theater films in Norway in 1969. Lillebjørn Nilsen and Sigrid Huun played the main characters Arne and Eva. Plot The film's action takes place in Oslo. It begins with a housewife coming home and finding her daughter Ingrid half-dead from using drugs. The daughter dies a few hours later in the hospital. Arne Skouen (18 October 1913 – 24 May 2003) was a Norwegian journalist, author, film director and film producer. Biography Arne Skouen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. His parents were Peder Nikolai Skouen (1883-1978) and Jenny Emanuelson (1883-1975). He graduated at Hegdehaugen School in 1933. He had three distinct career careers: journalist, author and filmmaker, partly at the same time. He was a journalist at ''Dagbladet'' from 1935 to 1941. From 1941 during World War II, Skouen was associated with the Norwegian Resistance Movement during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany. From 1943 to 1945, Skouen worked at the press office in Stockholm, London, and New York City.
