Eliot Teltscher
Eliot Teltscher (born March 15, 1959) is a retired professional American tennis player. He won the 1983 French Open Mixed Doubles. His highest ranking in singles was #6 in the world and in doubles was #38 in the world. Tennis career Early years Teltscher was born in Palos Verdes, California and lives in Irvine, California. His mother was born in Mandatory Palestine, and his father Eric, of Austrian descent, was a Holocaust survivor who immigrated to Mandatory Palestine and joined the British military, ultimately becoming an industrial engineer. He began playing tennis when he was nine, and by the time he was 17, he was ranked in the top ten in the United States junior rankings. Phillip King (tennis)
Phillip King (, born December 19, 1981 in Taipei, Taiwan) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. In later years he also played tennis in Hong Kong. Personal life King's parents David and Karen King emigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan in 1982. King is the oldest of four children. Two of his younger sisters are tennis players; the youngest one Vania King was the 2010 Wimbledon ladies doubles champion and 2010 US Open tennis doubles champion. Jim Grabb (born April 14, 1964) is an American former professional tennis player. In doubles, he won the 1989 French Open and the 1992 US Open. He was ranked the world No. 1 doubles player in both 1989 and 1993. His best singles ranking of world No. 24, he achieved in 1990. Petros "Pete" Sampras ( el, Πέτρος Σάμπρας; born August 12, 1971) is an American former world No. 1 tennis player. His professional career began in 1988 and ended at the 2002 US Open, which he won, defeating longtime rival Andre Agassi in the final. Jeff Tarango
Jeffrey Gail Tarango (born November 20, 1968) is a retired American tennis player. He was a top-ten doubles player and a runner-up at the 1999 French Open men's doubles tournament. He is now the Director of Tennis at the Jack Kramer Club, which is just south of Los Angeles. In 2018, he was the tournament director of a $30,000 men's California championships. At that championships, ATP world-ranked No. 11, Sam Querrey, beat Davis Cup captain Mardy Fish to win this event. Tarango now resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife and children. Richey Reneberg
Richey Reneberg (born October 5, 1965) is an American former professional tennis player. He attended Southern Methodist University, where he was a three-time All-American and reached the 1986 National Collegiate Athletics Association finals. He was the ATP Newcomer of the Year when he turned professional in 1987. He and his partner Jim Grabb were ranked world No. 1 in doubles and won the 1992 US Open doubles title. Justin Jeremy Gimelstob (born January 26, 1977) is a retired American tennis player. Gimelstob has been a resident of Morristown, New Jersey, and as of 2009 lived in Santa Monica, California. He was the top-ranked boy in his age group at the ages of 12, 14, 16, and 18. As a pro, he made the final of the Newport Tournament in singles and has 15 doubles championships to his name, including the 1998 Australian Open and 1998 French Open mixed doubles titles with Venus Williams. The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men's tennis. It is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is contested annually between teams from competing countries in a knock-out format.
