Eliot Bronson
Eliot Bronson is an American singer-songwriter. Early life and career Bronson was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He began playing at local coffeehouses and was dubbed a "folk singing Child prodigy, wunderkind" by ''The Baltimore Sun''. He later moved to Atlanta, where he formed the duo The Brilliant Inventions. The band became a staple of the Atlanta music scene, winning several local and national music awards and gaining a substantial fan following. In 2010, the band split up and Bronson continued solo, releasing ''Blackbirds'' in 2011. In 2012, Bronson released ''Milwaukee'', with his band Yonder Orphans (Kevin Leahy (musician), Kevin Leahy, Will Robertson and Bret Hartley). Adam Gardner
Adam Seth Gardner (born May 31, 1973) is an American guitarist and vocalist of the band Guster and a member of the Tufts University Beelzebubs. Gardner grew up outside Morristown, New Jersey, and played for a band called Royal Flush while a student at the Pingry School, from which he graduated in 1991. He also attended Harding Township School in New Vernon, New Jersey. Gardner, working with Dave Schneider, created a side-project in 2005 called The LeeVees. Kerrville Folk Festival
The Kerrville Folk Festival is a music festival held for 18 consecutive days in the late spring/early summer at Quiet Valley Ranch near Kerrville, Texas. The Kerrville Folk Festival was founded in 1972 by the husband-wife team of Rod Kennedy and Nancylee Davis. The event has run annually since then. In 2002, Kennedy retired and the non-profit Texas Folk Music Foundation took over Festival management. The new board hired Dalis Allen as producer. In November 2008, the Kerrville Folk Festival and Kerrville Wine & Music Festival were acquired by the Texas Folk Music Foundation, a 501(c)3 Texas Non-profit Corporation. The event draws around 30,000 people per year. Tickets (single day or season passes) are required for admission. Many patrons camp out on the festival grounds during part or all of the festival. The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival is an American annual folk-oriented music festival and dance festival held at Dodds Farm in Hillsdale, New York. History The first festival was a two-day event in 1988, held at a ski slope. In 1991, the festival moved to Long Hill Farm, in Hillsdale, New York, where it was held until 2005. Eddie's Attic is a music club in Decatur, Georgia. Founded in 1992 by Eddie Owen, it is a venue for both local musical talent and musicians of some acclaim who often got their start in the Atlanta area. Artists who developed their fanbase at Eddie's Attic include Shawn Mullins, Sugarland, Michelle Malone, Justin Bieber, disappear fear, The Civil Wars, John Mayer and Crystal Bowersox. On April 12, 2015, Freddie Carlos Gray Jr., a 25-year-old African American, was arrested by the Baltimore Police Department over his legal possession of a knife. While being transported in a police van, Gray sustained injuries and was taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
