Elinore Johansson
Elinore Johansson (born 19 March 1996) is a Swedish handball player who plays for Storhamar HE in the Norwegian REMA 1000-ligaen and the Swedish national team. She also represented Sweden in the 2013 European Women's U-17 Handball Championship in Poland, where the Swedish team won the final tournament, and at the 2015 Women's U-19 European Handball Championship in Spain, receiving the bronze medal. She made her debut on the Swedish national team on 16 June 2018, against Ukraine. On 8 February 2021, it was announced that she had signed a 3-year contract with Storhamar HE in Norway. Hässleholm
Hässleholm (older da, Hasselholm) is a locality and the seat of Hässleholm Municipality, Scania County, Sweden with 18,500 inhabitants in 2010. Overview Hässleholm was gradually developed from 1860 in connection with the construction of the main Stockholm to Malmö railway line. There was no settlement on the spot before the arrival of the railway. The station got its name from a manor situated in the vicinity of a planned railway junction. It gained the city title in 1914 and was then classified as one of Sweden's smallest cities. During the 20th century, it developed into a military hub. After the end of the cold war, most of the military establishments were disbanded or moved to other locations. In 2000, Hässleholm's Cultural Center ("kulturhus") was opened. 2015 Women's U-19 European Handball Championship
The 2015 Women's U-19 European Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the European Women's U-19 Handball Championship, held in Valencia, Spain from 23 July to 2 August 2015. Sixteen teams participated on the tournament, including the fifteen qualifying winners and the host nation. Sweden was the defending champions, but didn't reached the final, after getting defeated by Denmark in the semifinals. Denmark won the tournament, with a 29-26 win against Russia. Svensk handbollselit is the highest division of women's handball in Sweden. The inaugural Elitserien season took place in 1951, with Kvinnliga IK Sport winning the championship. The league currently consists of 12 teams. The eight top teams at the end of every season continue to the playoffs, in which the quarterfinals and semifinals are played as a best-of-five series, unlike the final which is played as a single match. The champion is awarded a spot in the EHF Women's Champions League's qualification stage. Historically, the women's Elitserien was dominated by IK Sävehof, with 15 championships. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. In 2012 the EHF Office celebrated 20 years since it first opened its doors.
