Eliana Menassé is a List of Mexican artists, Mexican painter and member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, an honor society for Mexican artists. Life Menassé was born in New York, but has lived in Mexico since she was two years old and considers herself Mexican. , she lived and worked at her Mexico City apartment overlooking Parque México. The history of the Jews in Mexico can be said to have begun in 1519 with the arrival of ''Conversos'', often called ''Marranos'' or “Crypto-Jews,” referring to those Jews forcibly converted to Catholicism and that then became subject to the Spanish Inquisition. Museo De La Secretaría De Hacienda Y Crédito Público
The Museo de la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público is an art museum located in the historic center of Mexico City. It is housed in what was the Palacio del Arzobispado (Palace of the Archbishopric), built in 1530 under Friar Juan de Zumárraga on the base of the destroyed pyramid dedicated to the Aztec god Tezcatlipoca. It remained the archbishphoric until 1867 when the Finance Ministry Accountancy Department was established there. The modern museum houses an exhibit dedicated to this god as well as a large art collection. History The building was the colonial archbishop's palace and contains two stone-columned courtyards. In 1530, Friar Juan de Zumárraga became the first archbishop of New Spain, which at that time included most of the Americas and the Philippines. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, California, Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles.
