Elena Yuryevna Korikova (russian: Еле́на Ю́рьевна Ко́рикова) is a Russian theater and television actress. She is known for her role of Anna Platonova in the television series '' Bednaya Nastya''. Biography Korikova was born in Tobolsk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. As a schoolgirl, she attended classes at the historic Epic heater-studio in Rostov-on-Don, created by director Mikhail Viktorovich Izyumsky and Elena Prozorovskaya (Izyum). Her mother sewed her own dresses. After high school she went to Moscow to act, successfully passed the exams and was admitted to Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), in the workshop of Sergei Solovyov. Korikova started acting in films. Her first role was a young Masha in the tale of Anatoly Mateshko "'' Kha-bee-ass-see''" (1990). Tobolsk (russian: Тобо́льск) is a town in Tyumen Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Tobol and Irtysh rivers. Founded in 1590, Tobolsk is the second-oldest Russian settlement east of the Ural Mountains in Asian Russia, and is a historic capital of the Siberia region. Population: History Conquest of Khanate of Sibir The town was founded on the site of the Tatar town of Bitsik-Tura. In 1580, a group of Yermak Timofeyevich's Cossacks initiated the Russian conquest of Siberia, pushing eastwards on behalf of the Tsardom of Russia. After a year of Tatar attacks, Yermak prepared for the conquest of the Khanate of Sibir and a campaign to take the Khanate's capital city, Qashliq. The Cossacks conquered the city on 26 October 1582, sending Kuchum into retreat. Vintage (russian: Винтаж, Vintaž) is a Russian pop group formed in 2006 by the singer Anna Pletnyova and musician Alexey Romanov. They have released 5 albums and sixteen radio singles, six of which headed the Russian radio-charts. The group is a laureate and nominee of a number of musical awards, including MTV Russia Music Awards, Muz-TV Award, Golden Gramophone Award, RU.TV Award and others. Since 2008 Vintage is a steady laureate of Song of the Year award. In 2011 and 2012 it was named the best group of the year at ZD Awards based on a poll organised by Moskovskij Komsomolets.
