''Electric Rodeo'' is the second studio album by Shooter Jennings, released in 2006 on the Universal South label. It was recorded between January and October 2005 in various studios in and around Los Angeles, California, and Nashville, Tennessee. Composition ''Electric Rodeo'' was recorded before '' Put the "O" Back in Country'', but released as Jennings' second album. Shooter Jennings
Waylon Albright "Shooter" Jennings (born May 19, 1979) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He is the only son of country singers Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter. In a career spanning over two decades, Shooter Jennings has explored a variety of genres as part of his eclectic sound, including southern rock, country, hard rock, blues rock, electronica and rock and roll. Bonnie Bramlett (born Bonnie Lynn O'Farrell, November 8, 1944) is an American singer and occasional actress known for performing with her husband, Delaney Bramlett, as Delaney & Bonnie. The pedal steel guitar is a Console steel guitar, console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Robby Turner
Robby Turner is an American pedal steel guitarist, best known for his work with Waylon Jennings and his contributions to recordings by many other artists. Biography Early years Turner grew up in a musical family; his parents Doyle and Bernice Turner played in Hank Williams' band The Drifting Cowboys from 1944 until 1946. At age six, Turner played drums in his father's band, and at age nine he played drums for the Wilburn Brothers. Ted Russell Kamp is an American singer-songwriter. He is the bassist for Shooter Jennings' backing band. As a solo artist, Kamp has released 11 albums. Biography Born in New York, Kamp grew up in the Northeast U.S. before moving to Seattle where he began his music career. He fronted a trio, Ponticello, which released four albums. During this time, Kamp released his first solo album, ''Dedications'' (1996). Kamp moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and started a new group, Union Pacific. Slide guitar is a technique for playing the guitar that is often used in blues music. It involves playing a guitar while holding a hard object (a slide) against the strings, creating the opportunity for glissando effects and deep vibratos that reflect characteristics of the human singing voice. The Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, usually referred to as simply Wurlitzer, is an American company started in Cincinnati in 1853 by German immigrant (Franz) Rudolph Wurlitzer. The company initially imported stringed, woodwind and brass instruments from Germany for resale in the United States. Wurlitzer enjoyed initial success, largely due to defense contracts to provide musical instruments to the U.S. military. In 1880, the company began manufacturing pianos and eventually relocated to North Tonawanda, New York.
