Electoral District Of Warren
Warren-Blackwood is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Western Australia from 1950 to 2008, and from 2013 onwards. Known as Warren until 1996, the district was located in the south-west of the state and first contested at the 1950 state election. Jane Kelsbie
Elizabeth Jane Kelsbie (born 4 October 1966) is an Australian politician. She has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Warren-Blackwood since 2021. Prior to entering politics, Kelsbie was the chief executive of employment organisation Worklink WA, the first female president of the Denmark Surf Livesaving Club between 2016 and 2019 and a board member of the Denmark Chamber of Commerce. She won her seat at the 2021 Western Australian state election with a 14.3% swing against the incumbent National Party candidate. Kelsbie defeated the former leader of the WA Nationals, Terry Redman. The National Party of Australia (WA) Inc, branded The Nationals WA, is a political party in Western Australia. It is affiliated with the National Party of Australia but maintains a separate structure and identity. Since the 2021 state election, the Nationals WA is the senior party in an opposition alliance with the WA Liberal Party in the WA Parliament. Prior to the election, the National Party was sitting in the crossbench and the Liberal Party was the sole opposition party. Terry Redman
Donald Terence Redman (born 16 April 1963) is an Australian politician. He was a National Party member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from February 2005 to March 2021, representing the electorates of Stirling (2005–2008), Blackwood-Stirling (2008–2013), and Warren-Blackwood (2013–2021). The Liberal Party of Australia (Western Australian Division), branded as Liberal Western Australia, is the division of the Liberal Party of Australia in Western Australia. Founded in March 1949 as the Liberal and Country League of Western Australia (LCL), it simplified its name to the Liberal Party in 1968. Paul Domenic Omodei (born 26 May 1950), Australian politician, was the leader of the Liberal Party and Leader of the Opposition in Western Australia from 24 March 2006 until 17 January 2008. Background Omodei was born in Manjimup, a town in the South West of Western Australia, and is of Italian ancestry. Hywel David Evans AM (20 December 1924 – 3 September 2019) was an Australian politician who was a Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1968 to 1989, representing the seat of Warren. Joseph Neon Rowberry (13 May 1895 – 13 November 1972) was an Australian trade unionist and politician who was a Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1958 to 1968, representing the seat of Warren. Vasse is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in Western Australia. Vasse is based in the South West region of the state, centred on the town of Busselton and is named for the Vasse River. It has been a safe seat for the Liberal Party at all times since its creation, including as its previous incarnation, Sussex.
