Electoral District Of Kahibah
Kahibah was an New South Wales Legislative Assembly electoral districts, electoral district of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales created in 1894 with the abolition of multi-member districts from part of the electoral district of Newcastle and named after the Newcastle, New South Wales, Newcastle suburb of Kahibah, New South Wales, Kahibah. It was abolished in 1920, with the introduction of proportional representation. It was recreated in 1927 and abolished and partly replaced by Electoral district of Waratah (New South Wales), Waratah in 1930. It was recreated in 1950 and abolished again in 1971 and replaced by Electoral district of Charlestown, Charlestown. Members for Kahibah Election results References

New South Wales Legislative Assembly Electoral Districts
The New South Wales Legislative Assembly is elected from single-member electorates called districts, returning 93 members since the 1999 election. Prior to 1927 some districts returned multiple members, including 1920-1927 when all districts returned 3,4 or 5 members. Parramatta is the only district to have continuously existed since the establishment of the Assembly in 1856.
