Electoral District Of Prospect
Prospect is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. An urban electorate in western Sydney, it is centred on the suburb of Prospect from which it takes its name. It also includes the suburbs of Arndell Park, Bossley Park, Bungarribee, Girraween, Huntingwood, Pemulwuy, Prairiewood, Wetherill Park, as well as parts of Blacktown, Eastern Creek, Greystanes, Pendle Hill Pendle Hill is in the east of Lancashire, England, near the towns of Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Brierfield, Clitheroe and Padiham. Bungarribee
Bungarribee is a suburb of Blacktown, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Bungarribee is located approximately 37 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Blacktown and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. History Bungarribee estate was established in 1822 by Colonel John Campbell (1770–1827) for the purpose of breeding horses for the East India Company. The archeological site around Campbell's Bungarribee Homestead was listed in 2000 on the NSW Heritage Register, though the building was demolished in the 1950s. One of his sons was Charles James Fox Campbell, a pioneer pastoralist in South Australia, after whom the Adelaide suburb of Campbelltown is named. 2015 New South Wales State Election
A general election for the 56th Parliament of New South Wales (NSW) was held on Saturday 28 March 2015. Members were elected to all 93 seats in the Legislative Assembly using optional preferential voting. Members were also elected to 21 of the 42 seats in the Legislative Council using optional preferential proportional representation voting. The election was conducted by the New South Wales Electoral Commission. The one-term incumbent Liberal/National Coalition Government led by Premier Mike Baird and Deputy Premier Troy Grant was re-elected to a second four-year term with a slightly reduced majority in the Legislative Assembly, where government is formed. The main Opposition Labor Party under Luke Foley won an increased share of the vote in most districts, though the party lost ground in some key races, including Foley's seat of Auburn. Smithfield is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Smithfield is located west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government areas of the City of Fairfield and Cumberland Council. Pendle Hill, New South Wales
Pendle Hill is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Pendle Hill is located 29 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government areas of Cumberland Council and City of Parramatta and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. Greystanes is a suburb in Greater Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Greystanes is located 25 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of Cumberland Council. Blacktown is a suburb in the City of Blacktown, in Greater Western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Blacktown is located west of the Sydney central business district. It is one of the most multicultural places within Greater Sydney.
