Elda Cerrato
Elda Cerrato (14 October 1930 – 17 February 2023) was an Italian-born Argentine artist who was professor at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and lifelong partner of composer Luis Zubillaga. Career Cerrato had 21 solo exhibitions in Argentina and abroad, including, the Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art, Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas and thArt Museum of the Americas USA. From 1962, she participated in more than 150 group exhibitions with paintings, drawings, installations, performances in Americas and Europe; including eight International Biennials where she received awards. Cerrato was Professor Consultant of Art at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and Academic Advisor to other universities in South America. Cerrato published articles, produced artists’s films, participated in radio programs, partaken as a member of academic and artist juries, and given conferences and seminars. Luis Zubillaga
Luis Zubillaga (1928–1995) was an Argentine composer and educator. He was born in Flores, Buenos Aires and was the lifelong partner of artist Elda Cerrato. As an adolescent, he felt that music, especially jazz, was his calling. From 1948 to 1952, he studied trumpet, theory and harmony with Bernardo Barbará; piano, harmony and composition with Cayetano Marcolli; and from 1955 to 1959, he studied composition with Juan Carlos Paz. After living in Venezuela from 1960–1963, Zubillaga returned to Argentina and took up lectureship at the National University of Tucuman in 1964. Further appointments were held at the National University of La Plata, the Central University of Venezuela and the Conservatory of Music in Moron, Argentina. The Buenos Aires Museum of Modern Art known locally as the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires or MAMBA is a modern art museum located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. History The museum opened on April 11, 1956, and resulted from an initiative by sculptor and diplomat Pablo Curatella Manes and art critic Rafael Squirru, who served as its first director. Initially located in Buenos Aires' Witcomb Gallery, the museum was later housed in the San Martín Cultural Center. The museum moved to its current location, a former Nobleza Piccardo tobacconist in the San Telmo neighborhood, in 1986. Following a five-year, 15 million-dollar renovation, the museum's main building was reopened to the public on December 23, 2010; future expansion plans include an addition that would quadruple its existing 3,000 m² (32,000 ft²) of space, and would absorb the library and archives annex, currently located at 963 Adolfo Alsina Street.

Marta Traba Taín (Buenos Aires, 25 January 1930 – Madrid, 27 November 1983) was an art critic and writer known for her contributions to Latin American art and literature. Biography Traba's parents were Catalan immigrants, Francisco Traba and Marta Taín. She studied Letters at the University of Buenos Aires. Upon graduation she worked at the arts review journal ''Ver y Estimar'' ('Look and Consider'), under the editorship of the art critic Jorge Romero Brest. Jorge Glusberg (23 September 1932 – 2 February 2012) was an Argentine author, publisher, curator, professor, and conceptual artist. Early life and education Glusberg was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. When he was 12 years old Glusberg organized a "geology museum" on balcony of his house.
