Elchin Azizov
Elchin Azizov ( az, Elçin Əzizov, born Elchin Yashar ogly Azizov; August 13, 1975) is an Azerbaijani opera baritone, From 1992 to 2001, he was a member of the Parni iz Baku team of the Russian TV show KVN. Since 2008, he has been a soloist at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. Biography Azizov was born in 1975, in Baku. He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts and obtained his diploma as movie stage director. He continued his studies at the opera studio at the Baku Music Academy (with Azad Aliyev, conductor), and at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (with Richard Miller and Alessandro Misciasci). There after he was a member of Galina Vishnevskaya's Opera Centre in Moscow, with Badri Maisuradze. Since 2008, Azizov has been a soloist at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. In 2015, Azizov is expected to make his debut at both Metropolitan Opera in New York City as Ibn-Hakia in Tchaikovsky's Iolanta and Opéra de Montréal as Nabucco in Verdi's Nabucco. ...

Elchin Guliyev
Colonel general Elchin Guliyev ( az, Elçin Isa oğlu Quliyev; born 22 September 1967) is an Azerbaijani politician who serves as the Chief of State Border Service of Azerbaijan Republic. Early life Guliyev was born on 22 September 1967 in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan. Between 1974 and 1982, he studied at secondary schools No. 20 and 23, and from 1982 to 1984, he went to a Jamshid Nakhichevanski Military Lyceum—a specialized military training school. In 1984 he entered the Baku Higher Combined Arms Command School. Graduating from the school in 1988, he served in various positions at Northern Group of Forces of the Soviet Army stationed in Poland from 1988 to 1992. Elchin Ilyas oglu Afandiyev ( az, Elçin İlyas oğlu Əfəndiyev) is an Azerbaijani writer, professor and politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan from 1993 to 2018. Early years Afandiyev was born to the family of famous Azerbaijani writer Ilyas Afandiyev on May 13, 1943 in Baku. Since his early childhood, Elchin Afandiyev was surrounded by literature and an academic environment. Azerbaijani folklore and world literature played a significant role in Afandiyev's future career. He wrote his first novel when he was 16 years old, which was published in ''Azərbaycan gəncləri'' (''Azerbaijani Youth'') magazine in 1959.
