Elaine Smith (actress)
Elaine Smith (born 23 April 1962) is a Scottish-Australian former actress who found fame on television series ''Neighbours'' in 1985 as original character Daphne Clarke. Biography Smith auditioned for a guest role in new series ''Neighbours'' in 1984. However her appearance, particularly her short spiky hair, caught the attention of the casting director and she was cast as regular character Daphne Lawrence. Smith continued in the role until 1988. Prior to this she had a small guest role in soap opera '' Sons and Daughters'' in 1984 as a flight attendant. Subsequent credits include ''The Flying Doctors'', '' State Coroner'', ''Always Greener'', ''Home and Away'' and '' All Saints'' in 2006. She returned to University to earn a degree in teaching, and as of 2017 worked as a drama and primary school teacher in an inner west Sydney public school. Ayrshire
Ayrshire ( gd, Siorrachd Inbhir Àir, ) is a historic county and registration county in south-west Scotland, located on the shores of the Firth of Clyde. ''Wogan'' is a British television talk show which was broadcast on BBC1 from 1982 until 1992, presented by Terry Wogan. It was usually broadcast live from the BBC Television Theatre in Shepherd's Bush, London, until 1991. It was then broadcast from the BBC Television Centre (TVC). ''Wicked!'' is an Australian animated television series based on the book series of the same name by Paul Jennings and Morris Gleitzman. It was co-produced by Energee Entertainment in Sydney, Australia and France Animation (later known as the MoonScoop Group). The series is about two step-siblings named Rory and Dawn as they try to protect their own from viruses caused by the Appleman, a man with a head shaped like a half-eaten apple. It was intended as a "comedy of horrors" aimed at children aged 8 to 13. ''Wicked!'' began with 13 short webisodes released on the eKidz website in late 2000. Hububb
Hububb is a Children's Television programme broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom, it was named after Les Bubb who also played the title character with the same name. The show ran from 1997 until 2001. Five series of the show were made. It was repeated on the CBBC Channel in 2002. The show is about a delivery man who lives in a tower in the centre of Edinburgh who kept getting into all sorts of bother, he is also known for using his trusty mountain bike which he uses for his work. The show was filmed and set in the Scottish Capital City, Edinburgh and the tower featured in the show was Melville Monument in St Andrew Square. ''Bullpitt!'' was a short-lived Australian television comedy series which screened in 1997 to 1998 on the Seven Network, reprising the main character in the 1980s sitcom ''Kingswood Country''. It was written by Gary Reilly and Tony Sattler. ''Bullpitt!'' saw the return of the character Ted Bullpitt, portrayed by (Ross Higgins) who is now single and retired, living in a retirement home.
