''El viaje de Copperpot'' (''Copperpot's Voyage'') is Spanish pop rock band La Oreja de Van Gogh's second studio album, issued by Epic Records on 11 September 2000. It was the band's first album to feature a bonus track. ''El viaje de Copperpot'' is the band's most successful album in Spain; after going platinum on its release day, it sold more than 1,300,000 copies and received a diamond certification. The album also catapulted the band's fame in Latin America going 3× Platinum in Mexico (under Mexican certification before 2001, 750,000 was 3× Platinum, but today it would be Diamond or 7× Platinum). La Oreja De Van Gogh
La Oreja de Van Gogh (; English: "Vincent van Gogh, Van Gogh's Ear") is a Spanish Pop music, pop band from San Sebastián, Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain. The band's lyrics and compositions are written primarily by Xabi San Martín, and additionally by Pablo Benegas and Amaia Montero (who remained in the group until her departure in 2007). The lyrical themes of their songs typically include love, friendship and relationships. Since their debut, they have sold more than 8 million albums worldwide. ''Dile al sol'' is the debut album from Spanish pop rock band La Oreja de Van Gogh released by Sony Music Entertainment in May 1998. The album was very successful in Spain, selling more than 800,000 copies there. This first album was recorded in Madrid between the months of July and August 1997. Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments. Amaia Montero
Amaia Montero Saldías (; born 26 August 1976) is a Spanish singer and songwriter mainly known as the former vocalist of the Spanish pop-band La Oreja de Van Gogh between 1996 and 2007. Amaia has sung in a variety of languages, including Basque, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, French and English. She also wrote some of the most successful singles of the band on their original versions, including "Mariposa" (2000) and "Puedes Contar Conmigo" (2003) among many others. Including her work with the band, Montero has sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Background Amaia Montero is the daughter of José Montero and Pilar Saldías, and has an older sister, named Idoia.
