El Hombre De Los Hongos
''El hombre de los hongos'' (English: ''The Man of the Mushrooms'') is a 1976 Mexican drama film based on the novel of the same name by Sergio Galindo. Synopsis The story unfolds in a family of rich landowners from the colonial era, which owns a sugar plantation on the edge of the jungle. While hunting in the forest one day, the father, Don Everardo, discovers a young black orphan by the river. He brings the child to his mansion and call him Gaspar. Friendly and intelligent, the boy quickly becomes a new member of the family. He plays with his son, Sebastian, and his two daughters, Emma and Lucilla, as if they were his own siblings. The family occasionally have lavish receptions, with fine dining. One of Don Everardo's favorite mushroom dishes is prepared with an old family recipe from Spain. Black Panther
A black panther is the melanistic colour variant of the leopard (''Panthera pardus'') and the jaguar (''Panthera onca''). Black panthers of both species have excess black pigments, but their typical rosettes are also present. Sergio Galindo
Sergio Galindo (September 2, 1926 – January 3, 1993) was a Mexican novelist and short story writer. He was born in Xalapa in the state of Veracruz, a region of Mexico that figures prominently in much of his writing. His most widely acclaimed novels are ''El Bordo'' (“The Precipice”, 1960) and ''Otilia Rauda'' (1986), the latter filmed as ''La Mujer del Pueblo'' in 2001. Galindo studied at the Mexican National Autonomous University (UNAM) and in Paris.
