Aaron Rodríguez (born June 13, 1976) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Sicodelico Jr. Rodríguez is the son of Sicodelico and the nephew of Mil Máscaras and Dos Caras, and the cousin of Alberto Del Rio (Dos Caras Jr.). Professional wrestling career Early career Rodríguez was born on June 13, 1976, son of Pablo Rodríguez better known as luchador Sicodelico. With most of the Rodríguez family involved in Lucha Libre, it was no surprise that Sicodelico Jr. decided to follow in his father's footsteps. Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (1998–2001) After being trained by his uncle Dos Caras, Sicodelico Jr. made his debut in January 1998, initially working on the Mexican Independent circuit. Dos Caras
José Luis Rodríguez Arellano (born February 21, 1951) is a Mexican ''Luchador Enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler) who wrestles under the ring name Dos Caras (Spanish for "two faces"). His most active years were in the 1970s and 1980s, and he achieved his greatest success in Mexico's Universal Wrestling Alliance (UWA), where he won the UWA World Heavyweight Championship three times. He has been called "the greatest heavyweight ever to come out of Mexico". He is the creator of the ''Dos Caras Clutch'', a hammerlock head scissors pinning combination. Professional wrestling career Rodríguez made his debut on January 6, 1970 at the age of 18 after training under Rafael Salamanca and Gory Medina. CMLL Torneo Gran Alternativa
The ''Torneo Gran Alternativa'' (Spanish for "the Great Alternative Tournament") is an annual ''lucha libre'' (professional wrestling) tournament held by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The tournament was not held in 1997, 2000, or 2002, but was held twice in 1996 and 1998. The most recent '' Torneo Gran Alternativa'' tournament was held in December 2021. The tournament has always been held in ''Arena Mexico'' in Mexico City, Mexico, the main arena of CMLL. Up until 2010 the tournament format was that of eight tag teams facing off in a one night, single elimination tournament, sometimes with a match to determine the seeds for the tournament. In 2010 the field of competitors was doubled to 16 and the tournament would take place over three shows, with eight teams facing off in Block A, the other eight in Block B and the two block winners would wrestle the following week. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. In 2004, the promotion became known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), but it continued to use the NWA World Heavyweight and Tag Team championships as part of its agreement with the NWA.
