Wenceslao Fernández Flórez
Wenceslao Fernández Flórez (1885 in A Coruña, Galicia – 1964 in Madrid) was a popular Galician journalist and novelist of the early 20th century. Throughout his career, he retained an intense fondness for the land of his birth. Early life and career His father died when he was fifteen years old, forcing Wenceslao to abandon his education and dedicate himself to journalism. His first job was with A Coruña's ''La Mañana'', and he went on to write for '' El Heraldo de Galicia'', '' Diario de A Coruña'' and ''Tierra Gallega''. At the age of eighteen he was given a senior position at '' Diario Ferrolano''. He later returned to A Coruña to work at ''El Noroeste''. He kept close friendship with Galician nationalism leaders and other intellectuals . Los Yonic's
Los Yonic's (or Los Yonics) are a Mexican Grupero band formed in 1975. Los Yonic's began playing together in San Luis San Pedro but later moved to Acapulco, playing both tropical pop music and ballads. Their music became very popular among American Hispanics in cities such as Los Angeles, San Jose, Phoenix, Arizona, and El Paso. They had a string of #1 albums on the Billboard Regional Mexican charts in the 1980s, and have continued to enjoy chart success on the American market since. Production of the album was handled by several musical producers including Akon, Nely el Arma Secreta, Tainy, and others. Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band that was formed in Puerto Rico by producer Edgardo Díaz. Referred to as the "Most Iconic Latino Pop Music Band", Menudo has been ranked as one of the Biggest Boy Bands of All Time by several publications, including '' Billboard'', ''Us Weekly'', '' Seventeen'', and '' Teen Vogue'', being the only Latin band on their lists. ''Fantasmas'' is a collection of previously released and unreleased songs by Glorium. 200 copies were released on Golden Hour Records in 2004 on compact disc. Background In 1996, Glorium recorded material with producer John Croslin in his studio with the hopes of releasing a full-length album. After no interest from any labels, the band self-released a 7-inch single of Black Market Hearts b/w Walkie-Talkie on Golden Hour Records. The rest of the Croslin material was not used until Fantasmas. In 2005 the band began to discuss releasing a compilation of these and other previously-released vinyl recordings, as well as outtakes from other recording sessions throughout their active career. Burning Image are an American deathrock band formed in Bakersfield, California in 1982. Burning Image first released a 7" single with the songs "The Final Conflict" and "Burning Image, Burning" in the summer of 1984.
