Eldra Patrick "El" DeBarge (born June 4, 1961) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. He was the focal point and primary lead singer of the family group DeBarge. Popular songs led by El DeBarge include " Time Will Reveal", " Who's Holding Donna Now", "Stay with Me", " All This Love", and " Rhythm of the Night". As a solo artist, he is best known for his unique high tenor register, strong falsetto and hits like " Who's Johnny" and "Love Always". All This Love (DeBarge Song)
"All This Love" is a single by DeBarge, released on October 17, 1982. The song was released as the third and final single from their second studio album of the same title on the Gordy label. The single would help DeBarge rise to R&B stardom. A cover version of the song was recorded by Patti LaBelle on her 1994 gold album ''Gems''. A video for her version was also filmed. Fourplay
Fourplay (stylized as fOURPLAY) is a contemporary American smooth jazz quartet. The original members of the group were Bob James (keyboards), Lee Ritenour (guitars), Nathan East (bass), and Harvey Mason (drums). In 1997, Lee Ritenour left the group and Fourplay chose Larry Carlton as his replacement. In 2010, Larry Carlton left Fourplay and was replaced by Chuck Loeb, who died on July 31, 2017. During Loeb's illness, saxophonist Kirk Whalum joined the group for performances. Who's Johnny
"Who's Johnny" is the debut solo single by El DeBarge. Released in 1986 on the Gordy label, the single was used for the film ''Short Circuit'' and reached number three on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number one on the Hot R&B Singles chart. It was the only solo number 1 single El DeBarge released after he left his surname-based family group, DeBarge, that same year. The song was parodied by "Weird Al" Yankovic on his album ''Polka Party!'' with the song "Here's Johnny".
