El Ard El Tayeba
''El Ard el Tayeba'' (aliases: ''The Good Land'' or ''The Good Earth'', ar, الأرض الطيبة, translit. ''Al-Ard Al-Tayyiba'') is a 1954 Egyptian film written, directed by and produced by Mahmoud Zulfikar. Synopsis Saadia discovers that she is the daughter of a rich man and has a huge inheritance after his death. Her stepmother Baheega hates her, specially after Saadia became a rich girl. Baheega plots to kill Saadia to win her inheritance with the help of her lover and her brother. Here come the good man Hussein to rescue her. Mahmoud Zulfikar
Mahmoud Qasdy Ahmed Mourad Zulfikar (18 February 1914 – 22 May 1970) was an Egyptians, Egyptian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. He started his career as an architect, before becoming an actor in 1939. He was a major figure in Cinema of Egypt, Egyptian film industry. Zulfikar was one of the most prominent artists in the Egyptian cinema, he was known for his boldness and adventure with the new talents he presented to the Egyptian audience, later, he was nicknamed the "Talent Finder". Zulfikar was able to go beyond the limits of the film location with accurate calculations and through his imaginations, he could make his scripts alive. Hussein Riad
Hussein Mohamed Shafiq ( ar, حسين محمد شفيق, more commonly known by his stage name Hussein Riad ( ar, حسين رياض , (1897–1965) was an Egyptian actor, who mainly played "dad roles". His career spanned about 46 years and he appeared in approximately 320 films, 240 theater plays, and 150 radio and 50 TV plays. Early life Riad was born "Hussein Mohamed Shafiq" ( ar, حسين محمد شفيق in 1897 in the Al-Sayeda Zaynab district of Cairo, Egypt, to an Egyptian father and a Syrian mom. Abdel Salam Al Nabulsy ( ar, عبد السلام النابلسي) (23 August 1899 – 5 July 1968) was an Egyptian actor of Lebanese-Palestinian origin. Life Nabulsy was born in Tripoli, Lebanon, in 1899, and died 1968 in Beirut. He is known for Egyptian movies in which he co-starred with renowned actors like Ismail Yasin, Abdel Halim Hafez, Faten Hamama and Farid El Atrash Nabulsy studied in Egypt at Al-Azhar University. While there, he developed an interest in acting. He acted on stage for a while and when his family got wind of his new career, they stopped sending him money so that he may focus instead on his studies. Acting afforded Nabulsy a way to earn a living. While he portrayed some evil if not too violent characters, his filmography was generally characterized by comedic roles. He died in Beirut in 1968.
