Ekranas Panevezys
Panevėžio Ekranas is a Lithuanian football club, from the city of Panevėžys. It won 7 top-tier champion and 5 national cup titles throughout its existence. The club was founded in 1964 and for 44 years competed in the top tier of Lithuanian football. However, at the end of 2014 season the club ran into financial difficulties, failed to meet admission criteria to A Lyga for the 2015 season, and was subsequently declared bankrupt. A new club FK Panevėžys was formed to represent the city of Panevėžys, which managed to pass licensing criteria for the 2015 I Lyga season. FK Ekranas was declared bankrupt in 2016. In 2020 FK Ekranas was restored. It plays in the 2nd tier of Lithuania. Aukštaitija Stadium
Aukštaitija Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Panevėžys, Lithuania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Panevėžys and earlier of FK Ekranas Panevėžys. 2008 LFF Lyga
The Lithuanian A Lyga 2008 was the 19th season of top-tier football in Lithuania. The season started on 29 March 2008 and ended on 16 November 2008. The league had to reduce the number of its teams from ten to nine prior to this season due to lacking of team able to earn promotion (see below). Shortly before the start of the season, Vilnius withdrew from participating in the league because of unknown reasons, leaving the league with 8 competing teams. 2010–11 Lithuanian Football Cup
The 2010–11 Lithuanian Football Cup is the 22nd season of the Lithuanian annual football knock-out tournament. The competition started on 23 May 2010 with the matches of the First Round and will end in May 2011 with the Final. Ekranas are the defending champions. The 2009–10 Lithuanian Football Cup is the 21st season of the Lithuanian annual football knock-out tournament. Lithuanian Football Cup
The Lithuanian Football Federation Cup ( lt, Lietuvos futbolo federacijos taurė), also known as Hegelmann LFF Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a Lithuanian football cup competition contested in a knockout tournament format. The winner of the cup gains entitlement to participate in the Lithuanian Supercup as well as the UEFA Europa Conference League. II Lyga
Lithuanian Football Federation's II lyga, LFF II lyga – the third tier Lithuanian football championship. As of 2021, the II lyga is a single league, consisting of planned 16 teams. The two top teams gain promotion to the I Lyga. Until the end of 2020 season the league consisted of the Southern Zone and the Western Zone. The Northern Zone and the Eastern Zone existed in some past seasons, but were done away with due to the dwindling number of participating clubs. League Structure Southern Zone The zone has existed since 1999 until 2020. Kaunas County Football Federation was in charge of the competition in this zone. 1990 Baltic League (russian: Чемпионат Прибалтики по футболу 1990) was an international football competition organized in 1990 between three Baltic states with the ongoing dissolution of the Soviet Union. The league consisting of 18 clubs from the Lithuania SSR, Estonian SSR, the Latvian SSR and a special invitee FC Progress Cherniakhovsk from Kaliningrad Oblast. For Lithuanian teams the league also served as a preliminary (first stage) tournament for the first post-Soviet Lithuanian football championship. The 2012 A Lyga, also known as ''General Financing A Lyga'' for sponsoring purposes, was the 23rd season of the A Lyga, the top-tier football league of Lithuania.
