Ekin Deligöz
Ekin Deligöz (born 21 April 1971) is a Turkish-German politician of Alliance '90/The Greens who has been serving as Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth in the coalition government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 2021. She has been serving as a member of the Bundestag since 1998. Early life Of ethnic Turkish origin, Deligöz was born in Tokat, Turkey; her family moved to West Germany in 1979. She attended school in Weißenhorn and afterwards partook in Administrative Studies in Konstanz and Vienna earning a degree in 1998. In February 1997, she acquired German citizenship. Political career Deligöz joined the Greens as a student member and belonged to the Bavaria chapter of the Greens' youth organization. Ekin Cheng is a Hong Kong actor and singer. Early in his career, he used the name Dior as a first name (because that was what it sounded like when his younger sister tried to call him 二哥 in Cantonese). He has also been referred to as Noodle Cheng, () after a popular noodle dish with a similar name and his wavy long hair. Currently Ekin is the name used. Ekin Tunçay Turan (born Ekin Tunçay), is a Turkish actress and translator. She has been working in Turkish State Theatre since 1993. Biography Turan attended high school in Ankara, where she began to act. While still a student, she appeared on Turkish Radio Television in various TV series. She graduated in 1992 from the Ankara Conservatory Theatre Department of Hacettepe University. In 1993, she joined Trabzon State Theatre. Ekin, Indiana
Ekin is an unincorporated community in Hamilton and Tipton counties, in the U.S. state of Indiana. History Ekin was named for General Ekin by James McKee. McKee built the first frame house in Ekin, which was used as a store. McKee sold his property and moved away after five years. Ekin heard about the naming of the town and send McKee a bible as a gift. Historically, Ekin had a strong timber industry. Ekin timber was exported internationally. A post office was established at Ekin in 1875, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1902.
