Ek Nari Ek Brahmachari
() is a 1971 Indian Hindi-language comedy film, produced by P. Gangadhar Rao Jothee Navshakthee Combines and directed by K. Pratyagatma. It stars Jeetendra and Mumtaz, with music composed by Shankar Jaikishan. The film is a remake of the Telugu film '' Brahmachari'' (1968). Plot Raisaheb Surajbhan Chaudhary lives a wealthy lifestyle in a palatial mansion with his wife of 30 years, Rajlaxmi, and two sons, Rajkumar, who has been married to Shyama for several years; and Mohankumar who is studying in and out of town college. Surajbhan is disappointed with Rajkumar as he has as not yet produced an heir to his family. To make matters worse Mohan, a devout worshiper of Lord Bajrangbali, has taken a vow of celibacy and refuses to get married. Things change dramatically when a young woman named Neena, along with her son, enters the Chaudhary household claiming that Mohan had married and abandoned her. K. Pratyagatma (born Kolli Kotayya Pratyagatma), also known as K. P. Atma (b: 31 October 1925 - d: 8 June 2001) was an Indian film journalist, director and producer known for his works in Telugu and Hindi cinema. He has garnered three National Film Awards. Personal life He was born on 31 October 1925 in Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Director K. Vasu is his son. He is also survived by his wife Satyavati, a daughter Tejo Latha in Bangalore and a son Kalidas in the United States. He died on 8 June 2001 in Hyderabad, India. K. Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs.
