Eintracht 01 Berlin was a German association football club from the city of Berlin. Established on 15 September 1901, ''Eintracht'' eventually became part of the tradition of present-day club '' Nordring Berlin''. In the first decade of the 1900s the club played in the Märkische Meisterschaft, one of two competing top flight Berlin leagues, between 1905–09. Germany was already de facto occupied by the Allies from the real fall of Nazi Germany in World War II on 8 May 1945 to the establishment of the East Germany on 7 October 1949. The Allies (United States, United Kingdom, Soviet Union, and France) asserted joint authority and sovereignty at the 1945 Berlin Declaration.
