''Eilema'' is a genus of moths in the subfamily Arctiinae. The genus was erected by Jacob Hübner in 1819. Taxonomy After a 2011 revision, all the species but one, ''E. caniola'', have been moved to other genera. ''Eilema caniola'', the hoary footman, is a moth of the family Erebidae. The species was first described by Jacob Hübner in 1808.
