Eiji Mitooka
is a Japanese industrial designer, illustrator, and managing director of the industrial design company . He also works as a design consultant for Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). Biography Mitooka graduated from Okayama Technical High School in 1965. After graduating from high school, Mitooka worked at Studio Silvo Coppola in Italy before founding Don Design Associates in 1972. The company oversees design projects for buildings, interiors, railway vehicles, graphics, and products. In October 2011, Mitooka was awarded the 59th Kikuchi Kan Prize, presented annually by ''Bungei Shunju'' literary magazine and the Society for the Advancement of Japanese Culture. Okayama Prefecture
is a Prefectures of Japan, prefecture of Japan located in the Chūgoku region of Honshu. Ibusuki No Tamatebako
The is a limited express service operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) in Japan since March 2011. It operates between Kagoshima-Chūō Station and Ibusuki Station via the Ibusuki Makurazaki Line. Service pattern There are three return services per day. All trains stop at Kiire. is a railway station on the Fujikyuko Line in the city of Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan, operated by private railway operator Fuji Kyuko (Fujikyu). Fujikyuko Line
The is a Japanese private railway line in Yamanashi Prefecture, between Ōtsuki Station in Ōtsuki and Kawaguchiko Station in Fujikawaguchiko. It is the only railway line operated by Fuji Kyuko. Kawasemi Yamasemi
is a two-car limited express train operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) in Japan. Overview On November 9, 2016, JR Kyushu released a press release detailing its new themed limited express, ''Kawasemi Yamasemi'', scheduled to debut in spring 2017. On December 16, 2016, it was revealed that the new train would begin operation on March 4, 2017. It is currently in normal operation. The ''Kawasemi Yamasemi'' is named for the Kingfisher and Crested Kingfisher, and follows the Kuma River along its route. It features the birds extensively as its motif. Design The train was designed by Eiji Mitooka and Don Design and Associates, and used local resources (such as Japanese cypress and cedar) extensively in its construction. Chikuhō Main Line
The is a railway line in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). It connects Wakamatsu Station in Kitakyushu with Haruda Station in Chikushino. Between Orio Station and Haruda Station, as well as from Keisen Station via the Sasaguri Line to Yoshizuka Station, the line functions as an alternate route to the Kagoshima Main Line.
