__NOTOC__ The Oecophorinae are the nominate subfamily of moths in the concealer moth family (Oecophoridae). Eido I
Eido I, also Ido, Eid or Ägidius (955 – 20 December 1015), was the bishop of Meissen from 992 to 1015. Life Eido, thought to have been a member of the noble von Colditz family, belonged to the cathedral chapter of Magdeburg. His appointment as bishop of Meissen in 992 was on the recommendation of Giselher, Archbishop of Magdeburg. Among the major events of his period of office was the dispute over the restoration of the bishopric of Merseburg, which had been abolished in 981 by the efforts of Giselher, and of its territories to the east of the Mulde which had fallen to the bishopric of Meissen. Eido was successful in retaining those territories for Meissen even after the restoration of the bishopric of Merseburg in 1004. Although measures had been taken in the court of Otto III to readjust the boundaries, they remained without effect. Eido II (also noted as Aico, Ido, Egidius, Aigo, Eiko or Heiko; died 1045 or 1046), was Bishop of Meissen from 1040 to 1045 or 1046. Eido Tai Shimano
was a Rinzai Zen Buddhist roshi. He was the founding abbot of the New York Zendo Shobo-Ji in Manhattan and Dai Bosatsu Zendo Kongo-Ji monastery in the Catskill mountains of New York; he was forced to resign from that position of 40 years after revelations of a series of sexual relationships with and alleged sexual harassment of female students. This case was never brought to court and Shimano never admitted any wrong doing. Biography Eido Shimano was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1932. His first encounter with a Buddhist scripture came at the age of nine, when his school teacher instructed his class to memorize the Heart Sutra. During the war the Shimano family moved to Chichibu, the mountain city where his mother was born. He died February 18, 2018 at Shogen-ji, Gifu, Japan, after having given a teisho (lecture) on Dogen's "Life and Death".
