Egypt Men's National Junior Handball Team
The Egypt national junior handball team is the under-20s national team representing Egypt in the international handball competitions and is controlled by the Egyptian Handball Federation. History The Egypt junior handball team has participated in several junior's handball competitions and the first appearance was in the inaugural African Men's Junior Handball Championship in 1980 in Nigeria the team placed third, two years later in 1982 in Benin the Egyptian captured the first African and international title and have qualified to the 1983 IHF Men's Junior World Championship sow the first appearance was for good to gain experiences the Egyptian finished in the 13th rank. The 2017 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 21st edition of the tournament, held in Algiers, Algeria from 18 to 30 July 2017. It was the first time that Algeria staged the competition, and the third time that it was held in Africa. Spain won their first title by defeating Denmark 39–38 in the final. The 2015 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 20th edition of the tournament and held at Brazil from 19 July to 1 August 2015. The decision to select Brazil as the host was announced 1 August 2014. France won their first title by defeating Denmark 26–24 in the final. 2013 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2013 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 19th edition of the tournament and was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 14 – 28 July 2013. The Oceania Continent Handball Federation withdrew from the tournament. Host cities Bosnia and Herzegovina was awarded hosting rights in May 2011, at the IHF XXXIII Ordinary Congress in Marrakech, Morocco. After long negotiations with local government, four cities were chosen to host the competition: capital Sarajevo with two halls and Banja Luka, Ljubuški and Zenica with one hall each. The 2011 Men's Junior World Handball Championship was the 18th edition of the tournament and was held at Thessaloniki, Greece from July 17–31, 2011. Oceania withdrew their participation at this year's tournament, Norway replaced the Oceanian team. Uruguay withdrew from this year's edition, Venezuela replaced them as the first substitute of the Pan-American continent. In a rematch of the 2009 final Germany defeated Denmark 27–18 in the final.
