Efter Endnu En Dag
''Efter endnu en dag'' ("After Another Day" in English) is the sixth studio album by Gasolin' and was released in November 1976. It was the last Gasolin' album to be produced by Roy Thomas Baker. In ''Efter endnu en dag'' the bombastic rock of '' Stakkels Jim'' and '' Gas 5'' was replaced by a more eclectic sound, making this album their equivalent of '' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band''. "Pilli villi" and "Pas på svinget i solrød" are up-tempo rock songs, while "De fem årstider" and "This Is My Life" are ballads. In between are sing-along pop hymns such as "Sirenesangen" and swing jazz songs such as "Bella Donna". "Stenalderjazz" is an instrumental played by a symphony ensemble and not by Gasolin'. It was arranged by Palle Mikkelborg. The title song and "De gule enker" would surface again on '' Killin' Time'' as "Closer" and "Magic Garden". Gasolin'
Gasolin' were a Danish rock band from Christianshavn, Copenhagen, formed by Kim Larsen, Franz Beckerlee, and Wili Jønsson in 1969. Their first drummer was the late Bjørn Uglebjerg. He was replaced by Søren Berlev in 1971. At their formation, the guitar playing of Franz Beckerlee was inspired by Jimi Hendrix and the vocals and lyrics of Larsen were inspired by Bob Dylan, while the rhythm playing of Jønsson and Berlev owed much to The Beatles. However, they would soon develop their own musical style. The pop sensibility of Kim Larsen, the artistic attitude of Franz Beckerlee and the musical competence of Wili Jønsson would prove to be a recipe for success. Gasolin's lyrics were generally written by the entire group, often with the assistance of their friend Mogens Mogensen. Live I Skandinavien
''Live i Skandinavien'' is a live album by Danish rock band Gasolin' that was released in November 1978. Gasolin' broke up in 1978, and played their last concert in Malmö (Sweden) on 21 August. ''Live i Skandinavien'' (AKA ''Gøglernes aften'') was recorded during their last tour, during their shows in Norway and Sweden. The album is dominated by songs from their 1977 album ''Gør det Noget''. "This is My Life" is played in a different, faster arrangement than the studio version from ''Efter Endnu en dag''. "Rabalderstræde" is the only song repeated from their first live album '' Live Sådan''. The last song, "Dråben", is better known as "Som et strejf af en dråbe". ''Live i Skandinavien'' was released on LP in red, blue, yellow and black vinyl in 1978, and on CD in 1989. Flemming Rasmussen (born 1 January 1958) is a Danish sound engineer, record producer, and owner and founder of Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. Rasmussen is currently main engineer/producer at Sweet Silence North in Helsingør. Biography Throughout his career, Rasmussen has worked with many different music genres, but is best known for his work with heavy metal. Rasmussen began his career as an assistant at the Rosenberg Studios facility run by producer/engineer Freddy Hansson. In 1976, Hansson founded the Sweet Silence Studios and brought Rasmussen with him. In 1980, Rasmussen became co-owner of the studio, and one year later became an engineer, recording the 1981 album ''Difficult to Cure'' by Rainbow. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings.
