Eevee (band)
Eevee is a 4-piece band from Davao City. They emerged as champions of the Nescafe 3-in-1 Soundskool in 2009. History The band was formed in 2009 as the Enzo Villegas Band. At that time, they joined the Nescafe 3 in 1 Soundskool, where they emerged as champions. As part of the prize, they signed with Sony Music. They relocated to Manila not long after and renamed as Eevee after the Pokémon of the same name. In June 2010, they released their debut album ''Paramdam'' with "Gusto Ko Lang Ng Girlfriend" as the first single. The album was produced by ex-Eraserheads bassist and now The Dawn bassist Buddy Zabala, and Sancho Sanchez. In February 2012, they released their second album ''Playtime'' with "Ang Sarap Maging Single" as its single. In 2017, after releasing an album and EP independently, they signed with Ivory Music. Eevee
is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's ''Pokémon'' franchise. Created by Motofumi Fujiwara, it first appeared in the video games ''Pokémon Red'' and ''Blue''. It has later appeared in various merchandise, spinoff titles, as well as animated and printed adaptations of the franchise. It is also the game mascot and starter Pokémon for '' Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!'' Known as the Evolution Pokémon in the games and the anime, Eevee has an unstable genetic code, which allows it to evolve into one of eight different Pokémon, known as Eeveelutions, depending on the situation. Eraserheads (sometimes stylized as ERASƎRHEADS or ƎRASƎRHƎADS) are a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 1989. With a line-up comprising Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan, the band became one of the most influential and successful in the history of Filipino music. Dennis Magloyuan Regino (April 9, 1961 – November 29, 2020), known professionally as April Boy Regino (), was a Filipino singer, songwriter, and actor who popularized ballads such as "Paano ang Puso Ko", "Umiiyak ang Puso" and "Di Ko Kayang Tanggapin" in the 1990s and novelty songs such as "Ye Ye Vonnel". He always wore a baseball cap in public as a trademark. Early life Dennis Magloyuan Regino was born on April 9, 1961, in Marikina. He was the fourth of Tomas and Lucena's eight children, and grew up in a slum near the railway track in Caloocan. Buddy Zabala
Hector Avanceña Zabala (born November 13, 1971), popularly known as Buddy Zabala, is a Filipino musician and producer. He is currently the bassist of Filipino pop band Moonstar88 and indie band Cambio, and widely known as the bassist and backing vocalist of the alternative rock band, Eraserheads. He also served as bassist to The Dawn and Hilera. Early life Zabala was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines and attended University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City. The Dawn is a Filipino rock band which first achieved commercial success during the late 1980s in the Philippines. The band broke up in 1995 with lead vocalist Jett Pangan forming another band, the Jett Pangan Group. The Dawn reunited in late 1999. The Dawn is considered the "longest-lived and most prolific rock band in the Philippines". The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses.
