Edward William J. Savage (born 15 November 1989) is an English footballer and former child actor. Early life Edward William J. Savage was born in 1989 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Career Savage played Steven Beale in the BBC soap opera '' EastEnders'', taking over the role from Stuart Stevens. Savage left ''EastEnders'' when his character was written out in 2002. Savage ended his acting career, opting for football. He played football for Wycombe Wanderers alongside his older brother Andrew, and attended John Hampden Grammar School. He also enjoys judo. Edward Savage (November 26, 1761, Princeton, Massachusetts – July 6, 1817, Princeton, Massachusetts) was an American portrait painter and engraver. Life and career He was born in Princeton, Massachusetts, and at first worked as a goldsmith, also practicing engraving. Although seemingly untrained in painting, he came into prominence in 1790 through his portrait of George Washington, intended as a gift to Harvard University. In 1791 he visited London, where he studied for a time under Benjamin West, and then went to Italy. Upon his return to the United States in 1794, he practiced in Philadelphia and New York City, maintaining for several years a picture gallery and art museum on Water Street in New York. Robert Edge Pine began the first representation of ''Congress Voting Independence'' (Historical Society of Pennsylvania Collection, Atwater Kent Museum, Philadelphia) in 1784, but it was unfinished at his death. Midhurst (UK Parliament Constituency)
Midhurst was a parliamentary borough in Sussex, which elected two Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House of Commons from 1311 until 1832, and then one member from 1832 until 1885, when the constituency was abolished. Before the Great Reform Act of 1832, it was one of the most notorious of England's rotten boroughs. History From its foundation in the 14th century until 1832, the borough consisted of part of the parish of Midhurst, a small market town in Sussex. Much of the town as it existed by the 19th century was outside this ancient boundary, but the boundary was in any case academic since the townsfolk had no votes.
