Eduardo Ortega
Eduardo Ortega is a Mexican-American baseball broadcaster. He has worked as the Spanish language broadcaster of the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB) since 1987. Ortega began announcing baseball in Mexico when he was 20 years old. Four years later, he was hired by the Padres. He works for ESPN Deportes during the MLB postseason, and has also announced the MLB All-Star Game and World Baseball Classic. He was a finalist for the Ford C. San Diego Padres
The San Diego Padres are an American professional baseball team based in San Diego. The Padres compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) West division. Founded in 1969, the club has won two NL pennants—in 1984 and 1998, losing in the World Series both years. As of 2022, they have had 16 winning seasons in franchise history.
