Eduardo Armani
Eduardo Armani (22 August 1898 - 13 December 1970) was an Argentine violinist and conductor. Biography He studied music at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia (in Buenos Aires) with teachers Cayetano Troiani and Hércules Galvani, finishing his studies at the age of 15. He began performing with prominent classical music figures such as Juan José Castro, Luis Gianneo, Julio Perceval, José María Castro, Washington Castro, and Ennio Bolognini. In 1919 he performed as solo violin during the performances of the dancer Isadora Duncan, at the Teatro Opera (in Buenos Aires). He repeated the following year accompanying Ana Pavlova at the Teatro Coliseo, which earned him a contract to perform in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela. In 1921 he conducted the French orchestra of Madame Rasimi's Revue Company, at the Opera theater. Osvaldo Fresedo
Osvaldo Fresedo (May 5, 1897 - November 18, 1984), nicknamed ''El pibe de La Paternal'' ("the kid from La Paternal") was an Argentine songwriter and director of a tango orchestra. He had one of the longest recording careers in tango history, from 1920 to 1980. Career Fresedo was born into a middle-class family in La Paternal, Buenos Aires, Argentina. His mother gave him the first music lessons. While he was still small, his family moved to a working-class neighborhood, and it was there he began his interest in tango. He learned to play the bandoneón and as a teenager joined several of the most famous orchestras of the era of the ''Guardia Vieja'' ("Old Guard"). In 1920 traveled to United States. Manuel Romero (director)
Manuel Romeo (September 21, 1891 – October 3, 1954 in Buenos Aires) was an Argentine film director, screenwriter, dramatist and score composer, and one of the influential directors in the cinema of Argentina of the classic era. He directed and wrote over 50 films between 1931 and 1951 even composing the musical scores for several. He was a pioneer of Variety Theatre, and one of the few tango lyrical writers that has reached timeless classical success. When he was a teenager, he began his journalist job in the Magacine Fray Mochoy, and in the newspapers Crítica y Última Hora. Eduardo Morera (9 January 1906 – 21 January 1997) was an Argentine film director. Although his career was relatively short compared to other directors of the period, he directed 18 films between 1930 and 1943, including influential tango films such as 1937's '' Así es el tango''. Casino De Paris
The Casino de Paris, located at 16, rue de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement, is one of the well known music halls of Paris, with a history dating back to the 18th century. The Folies Bergère () is a cabaret music hall, located in Paris, France. Located at 32 Rue Richer in the 9th Arrondissement, the Folies Bergère was built as an opera house by the architect Plumeret. It opened on 2 May 1869 as the Folies Trévise, with light entertainment including operettas, comic opera, popular songs, and gymnastics.
