Edson Luis Da Silva
Edson Luiz da Silva (born 15 March 1977) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as left-back, who could also adapt to play in midfield. Career During his brief spell at Marseille he played in the 1999 UEFA Cup Final. In the summer of 2005, Edson signed for Lisbon side Sporting CP, after three seasons with União de Leiria where his side reach the final of the Taça de Portugal and the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. In January 2006, after making only one league appearance with the ''Leões'', Edson was loaned out to Polish side Legia Warsaw where he would help his side win the Ekstraklasa. He quickly made a name for himself in the Ekstraklasa, scoring some impressive goals from free-kicks. However, he was unable to maintain his form and he was eventually dropped in favor of Grzegorz Bronowicki. Palmares, Pernambuco
Palmares is a city in northeastern Brazil, in the State of Pernambuco, with 63,500 inhabitants, according with IBGE 2020. 2003 Taça De Portugal Final
The 2003 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the 2002–03 Taça de Portugal, the 63rd season of the Taça de Portugal, the premier Portuguese football cup competition organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 15 June 2003 at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, and opposed two Primeira Liga sides: Porto and União de Leiria. Porto defeated União de Leiria 1–0, thanks to a second half strike from Brazilian striker Derlei. The Copa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Cup) is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District. It is the Brazilian domestic cup and the Brazilian equivalent of the FA Cup, Taça de Portugal, Copa del Rey, Scottish Cup and Copa Argentina. 2000 FIFA Club World Championship
The 2000 FIFA Club World Championship was the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, the world club championship for men's club association football teams. It took place in Brazil from 5 January to 14 January 2000. FIFA as football's international governing body selected Brazil as the host nation on 8 June 1999 as the bid was found to be the strongest among four candidates. The draw was made at the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro on 14 October 1999. All matches were played in either Rio de Janeiro's Estádio do Maracanã or São Paulo's Estádio do Morumbi. 1998–99 UEFA Cup
The 1998–99 UEFA Cup was won by Parma in the final against Marseille. It was their second title in the competition. It was the last edition of the old format UEFA Cup, before the Cup Winners' Cup was merged into it to include domestic cup winners, and an extra knockout round was added. Maciej Rybus (; born 19 August 1989) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League, and previously for the Poland national team. Club career Rybus began his career with Pelikan Łowicz and was in summer 2006 sold to MSP Szamotuły, here played only one season and was than scouted by Legia Warsaw. The 2007–08 Ekstraklasa started in July 2007 and ended in mid-May 2008. It was run by the Ekstraklasa SA. The Polish Champion will qualify for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. The runner-up and winner of the Polish Cup will qualify for the UEFA Cup first qualifying round. The third placed team will qualify for the second round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
