Edis Elkasević
Edis Elkasević (born February 18, 1983) is a Bosnian-born Croatian athletics coach and retired shot putter. He won the 2002 World Junior Championships. He did not quite adapt to an international senior level, but competed at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2005 World Championships without reaching the final. Representing the Auburn Tigers track and field team, Elkasević won the 2005 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the shot put. His personal best throw is 20.94 metres, achieved in June 2005 in Velenje. With the junior shot (6 kg) he has 21.96 metres, achieved in June 2002 in Zagreb. This was the junior world record until June 2009, when it was surpassed by David Storl. He also has 60.54 metres in the discus throw, achieved in May 2005 in La Jolla, California. Born in Sarajevo, he is best known for playing for hometown club Željezničar, making over 300 appearances for the club in all competitions. Edis Görgülü (born 28 November 1990) is a Turkish singer and songwriter. He was born in London and raised in İzmir. While studying at high school and university, he passed music lessons. After enrolling in Galatasaray University Communication Faculty, he settled in Istanbul and immediately tried to contact various people to make an album, but he did not succeed. Meanwhile, he started acting and had roles in TV series ''Dinle Sevgili'' (2011–12) and ''Hayatımın Rolü'' (2012). In the years that he pursued a career in acting, he got an offer from his manager to make an album. After releasing numerous singles, Edis released his first studio album '' Ân'' in March 2018. Ediz Yıldırımer (; born 25 October 1993) is a Turkish freestyle swimmer competing particularly in the 800 m and 1500 m events. He represented his country at the 2008 Summer Olympics without advancing to the final. With his age of 14, he was the youngest ever Turkish athlete to take part at the Olympics. Colonel Sir Robert William Edis (13 June 1839 – 23 June 1927) was a British architect. Biography Edis was born in Huntingdon to Emma and Robert Edis. His sister was the preacher Isabella Reaney, his brother was Arthur Wellesley Edis, a gynaecologist, and his niece through Arthur was the photographer Olive Edis. Edis was educated at Huntingdon Grammar School and Aldenham School before being articled to William Gilbee Habershon and Edward Habershon, architects, in London. He became chief assistant to Anthony Salvin, and joined the Architectural Association in 1859. He was admitted an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1862 and a fellow of the association in 1867.
