Edin Đerlek
Edin Đerlek ( sr-cyrl, Един Ђерлек; born 23 January 1987) is a Serbian lawyer and politician serving as minister without portfolio since 2022. An ethnic Bosniak, he is a vice-president of the Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP). Early life Edin Đerlek was born on 23 January 1987 in Belgrade, Socialist Republic of Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He graduated from the University "Abu Nour" in Damascus, Syria in 2009, after which he enrolled into the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Novi Pazar, where he studied sharia. Career Đerlek is a member of the Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP). Đerlek was the candidate of SPP for the National Assembly in 2016 and 2020, but failed to obtain a seat. Between 2016 and 2022, he served as a member of the City Assembly of Novi Pazar. As of 2022, he serves as the vice-president of SPP. Minister without portfolio ( sr, Министар без портфеља, Ministar bez portfelja) is a minister in the Government of Serbia with no particular ministry but who has some specific responsibilities. The office was usually held simultaneously by several people at the same time (in the second cabinet of Mirko Marjanović there were ten Ministers without portfolio at one point). Bosniaks Of Serbia
Bosniaks ( sr, Бошњаци, Bošnjaci) are the fourth largest ethnic group in Serbia after Serbs, Hungarians and Roma, numbering 145,278 or 2.02% of the population according to the 2011 census. They are concentrated in south-western Serbia, and their cultural centre is Novi Pazar. The third cabinet of Ana Brnabić was formed on 26 October 2022, following the latter's election as prime minister of Serbia by the National Assembly on the same day. It succeeded the second cabinet of Ana Brnabić and is the incumbent government of Serbia since 26 October 2022. The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) came to power in 2012. Novi Pazar ( sr-cyr, Нови Пазар, lit. "New Bazaar"; ) is a city located in the Raška District of southwestern Serbia. Ana Brnabić ( sr-cyr, Ана Брнабић, ; born 28 September 1975) is a Serbian politician serving as the prime minister of Serbia since 2017. She is the first woman and first openly gay person to hold the office.
