Edin Terzić (footballer)
Edin Terzić (; born 30 October 1982) is a German-Croatian professional football coach and former player, who is currently the head coach of German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. Career Early years Terzić was born in 1982 in Menden, West Germany to a working-class family that immigrated from Yugoslavia. He is of paternal Bosniak and maternal Croatian descent and holds Croatian citizenship. Terzić played at the fourth level of professional leagues in Germany during his playing career. He is an alumnus of Ruhr University Bochum where he studied Sports Science. Coaching career Between 2010 and 2013, Terzić worked as a scout and assistant coach in the youth academy of Borussia Dortmund, reporting to then first team manager Jürgen Klopp. His older brother Alen also works as a scout for Borussia Dortmund and served as caretaker manager of Borussia Dortmund II during the 2019–20 Regionalliga West season. Menden
Menden (, official name: ''Menden (Sauerland)''; Westphalian: ''Mennen'') is a city in the district Märkischer Kreis, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located at the north end of the Sauerland near the Ruhr river. History Menden's first churches were built in the 9th century. From 1180 on the area around Menden was part of the Cologne region, however, as it was on the border with the County of Mark, it was often fought over. In 1276, it received city rights. Industrialization started early: in 1695 needle production was the first industry, later followed by limestone products such as cement. The Croatia national football team ( hr, Hrvatska nogometna reprezentacija) represents Croatia in international Association football, football matches. Slaven Bilić
Slaven Bilić (; born 11 September 1968) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player. He is the current manager of EFL Championship side Watford. Bilić, who played as a defender, began his career in 1988 with his hometown club Hajduk Split, later having successful spells with Karlsruher SC in Germany, and West Ham United and Everton in England before retiring from active football in 2001. The 2019–20 Regionalliga was the twelfth season of the Regionalliga, the eighth under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. Borussia Dortmund II are the reserve team of Borussia Dortmund. They play in the 3. Liga, at Stadion Rote Erde. Until 2005, the team played as Borussia Dortmund Amateure. Jürgen Klopp
Jürgen Norbert Klopp (; born 16 June 1967) is a German professional football manager and former player who is the manager of club Liverpool. He is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the world. Klopp spent most of his playing career at Mainz 05. He was initially deployed as a striker, but was later moved to defence. Upon retiring in 2001, Klopp became the club's manager, and secured Bundesliga promotion in 2004. A football scout attends football matches on the behalf of clubs to collect intelligence. Typically, there are two types of scouts: player scouts and tactical scouts. Player scouts or physical scouts evaluate the talent of footballers with a view to signing them on a professional contract for their employers.
