Edgar Pons Ramón (born 16 June 1995 in Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish former motorcycle racer. He was the FIM CEV Moto2 European champion in 2015 and 2019. He is son of Sito Pons and brother of Axel Pons. Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto (formerly known as Circuit of Jerez and Circuito Permanente de Jerez), is a racing circuit located close to the city of Jerez de la Frontera, south of Seville and deep within the sherry-producing region in the south of Spain. The 2014 Qatar motorcycle Grand Prix was the first round of the 2014 MotoGP season. It was held at the Losail International Circuit in Doha on 23 March 2014.
