Edgar Bruno Da Silva
Edgar Bruno da Silva (born 3 January 1987), known simply as Edgar, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a striker. Club career Born in São Carlos, São Paulo, Edgar started professionally for São Paulo FC in 2006, being loaned by Série C side Joinville Esporte Clube. In January 2007 he moved to Portugal with S.C. Beira-Mar, scoring four league goals which proved insufficient in avoiding relegation from the Primeira Liga; also in that year, he was part of the Brazilian under-20 team that won the South American Youth Football Championship. In the 2007 summer transfer window, Edgar was transferred to FC Porto but, after featuring sparingly, moved on loan to fellow league club Associação Académica de Coimbra. He joined Red Star Belgrade in Serbia in July 2008 on a season-long loan, but, in January of the following year, he was released by Porto and returned to Brazil, signing for CR Vasco da Gama. São Carlos (Saint Charles, in English, ; named after Saint Charles Borromeo) is a Brazilian municipality in the interior of the state of São Paulo, 254 kilometers from the city of São Paulo. Ânderson Miguel da Silva (born 28 July 1983), known as Nenê, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Portuguese club U.D. Vilafranquense as a striker. After being crowned the Portuguese Primeira Liga's top scorer in 2009, he went on to spend most of his professional career in Italy, representing several clubs. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The 2007 South American Youth Championship (Sudamericano Sub-20) was the 23rd edition of the competition. It was played in Paraguay between 7 and 28 January 2007, and was contested by all ten U-20 national football teams of CONMEBOL. This was the fourth time Paraguay hosted the competition. Brazil finished undefeated and won their ninth title, beating rivals Argentina in the final. Primeira Liga
The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division.
