Eden (soccer)
Three Kings United Football Club is a youth football club based in Three Kings, Auckland, New Zealand. They previously competed in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Division 1, with their last appearance coming in 2019. In 2020, Three Kings United merged with Onehunga Sports to form Auckland United, which assumed Onehunga's position in the 2020 NRFL Premier season; the club's youth and social sectors remain in operation. Three Kings' home ground is Keith Hay Park, with a number of other parks used around central Auckland. Club history The club was founded in 1997 through the amalgamation of Eden AFC (founded 1947) and Mount Roskill AFC (founded 1954). In 1994, Eden had merged with YMCA Grafton, a club with an illustrious history. Keith Hay Park
Keith Hay Park is a reserve and sports ground in the suburb of Mount Roskill in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the home ground of New Zealand National League and Northern League side Auckland United and the Tri Star Gymnastics Club. Cameron Pools and Leisure Centre is also located at Keith Hay Park. The ground also hosts cricket games during the summer and is used as one of Eden Roskill Cricket Club's grounds. Naming Keith Hay Park was named after Keith Hay, a former mayor of the Mt Roskill Borough Council, who developed the surrounding land. North Shore United Association Football Club is an amateur football club based in the North Shore, Auckland. They compete in the Northern League, where they last won the competition in 2019. Petone FC is an association football club in Petone, New Zealand. The club provides football for men, women and children. The club's men's first team competes in the Central League with the women's first team competing in the Capital Football W-League. The club is based at Memorial Park in the Lower Hutt suburb of Petone. History and achievements The club is the successor for Petone United, a club founded in 1889 as Petone Wanderers before merging with the Wellington Rowing Club in 1892, competing under the name United until disbandment in 1895. The 1950 Chatham Cup was the 23rd annual nationwide knockout football competition in New Zealand. The competition was run on a regional basis, with regional associations each holding separate qualifying rounds. Teams taking part in the final rounds are known to have included Eden, Eastern Suburbs (Auckland), Claudelands Rovers, Rotowaro Tigers (Hamilton), Runanga (West Coast), Denniston (Buller), Moturoa (Taranaki), Wanganui Technical Old Boys (Wanganui), Ohakea (Manawatu), Institute Old Boys, Wellington Marist (Wellington), Technical Old Boys, Wigram (Christchurch), Brigadiers (Southland) and Northern (Dunedin). 2009 Chatham Cup
The 2009 Chatham Cup is New Zealand's 82nd knockout football competition. The 2009 competition had a preliminary round, a qualification round, and four rounds proper before quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. In all, 130 teams took part in the 2009 competition. The 2009 final In the final, Three Kings United took an early lead through a third-minute goal from Luiz del Monte. Three Kings dominated for much of the early part of the match, but higher-ranked Olympic fought back, and a header just before the half-hour mark from Mickey Malivuk levelled the scores at 1-1. In the second half Olympic had the upper hand, and eventually took the lead through a 75th-minute penalty taken by Raf de Gregorio. Three Kings attacked strongly during the last few minutes of the match but were unable to produce an equaliser.
