Eddy Polanco (born August 5, 1994) is a Dominican-American professional basketball player for Astoria Bydgoszcz of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). College career He played for the Southeastern Louisiana Lions, a team in the NCAA Southland Conference. As a senior, he averaged 8.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Professional career After graduation, Polanco signed with the Leones de Santo Domingo. He subsequently joined Albacete Basket of the LEB Plata and scored 44 points in a game in October 2019. In January 2020, he signed with Força Lleida. He averaged 8.8 points per game in six games. On July 22, 2021, Polanco signed with Almansa of the LEB Oro. Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB. The teams that finish the season in 2nd to 9th place enter a playoff tournament, with the winner also gaining promotion to the Liga ACB. The three lowest-finishing teams in the LEB Oro are relegated to LEB Plata.
