Eddy Martin (born September 10, 1990) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his roles as One Love in the movie '' Rebound'', and as Joaquin in the Nickelodeon original show ''Just Jordan''. He sings a variety of music including mariachi music, ballads, and pop. He plays the drums and piano, and writes his own music. He starred in the 2003 television movie ''The Maldonado Miracle'', directed by Salma Hayek. He played the role of Jose Maldonado, a lonely migrant boy searching for his father. He appeared as Roberto in the second season of the PBS drama '' American Family'', directed by Gregory Nava, which aired in 2004. ''Rebound'' is a 2005 American sports comedy film directed by Steve Carr. It stars Martin Lawrence as a disgraced college basketball coach who returns to his old middle school to coach the boys' basketball team. This was also Tara Correa's only film role. She was murdered in a gang shooting on October 21, 2005, three months after the film's release. Plot Coach Roy McCormick was once college basketball's top mastermind. His attention began to turn to what endorsement contracts he could secure instead of actually coaching his team. Roy lets his temper get the best of him in most situations. Gregory James Nava (born April 10, 1949) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. Personal life Nava was born in San Diego, of Mexican and Basque heritage. Nava graduated from St. Augustine High School (San Diego), St. Augustine High School in San Diego and went on to attend film school at UCLA where he earned an Master of Fine Arts, MFA in 1976. At UCLA he directed the short film ''The Journal of Diego Rodriguez Silva'' (based on the life of Federico García Lorca, García Lorca), and for this work, won the Best Dramatic Film Award at the National Student Film Festival.
