Eddie Sharp
Eddie Sharp Jr. (born August 12, 1964) is an American stock car racing team owner and former driver who formerly competed in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series and the NASCAR Busch Series. He is a former co-owner of Sharp Gallaher Racing, which competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Racing Series. Racing career Born in Clearwater, Florida in 1964, Sharp began his racing career as a powerboat racer, competing in hydroplanes along with his father, Eddie Sharp Sr., during the 1980s. Moving to automobile racing as a result of safety concerns, Sharp competed in local stock car races, moving up to the NASCAR Busch Series in 1993, competing two events with a best finish of 14th at Bristol International Raceway. The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series began in 1949 as the Strictly Stock Division, and from 1950 to 1970 it was known as the Grand National Division. In 1971, when the series began leasing its naming rights to the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, it was referred to as the NASCAR Winston Cup Series (1971–2003). A similar deal was made with Nextel in 2003, and it became the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series (2004–2007). Charlotte Motor Speedway (previously known as Lowe's Motor Speedway from 1999 to 2009) is a motorsport complex located in Concord, North Carolina, outside Charlotte. The complex features a quad oval track that hosts NASCAR racing including the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, and the Bank of America Roval 400. Boston Reid (born December 29, 1982) is a USAC and NASCAR driver. Early life and education Reid was born in Logansport, Indiana, where his father Lynn Reid, a former Indy car chief, was the Honda Motorcycle dealer; he later moved his shop to Kokomo, Indiana. Reid is a 2001 Graduate of Taylor High School. Reid began racing at the age of seven before moving on to the World Karting Association two years later. By the time he was twelve years old, he was racing 80cc go-karts and mini-sprint cars under the tutelage of his father. Justin Lofton
Justin Lofton (born February 18, 1986) is an American professional off-road racing driver. He also competes in stock car racing, driving part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West in the No. 30 Ford for Rette Jones Racing. Lofton formerly competed in stock car racing full-time, competing in the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He is the 2009 ARCA Re/Max Series, 2009 champion. Racing career Lofton started his racing career in mountain bikes before moving to late models. Michael McDowell (racing Driver)
Michael Christopher McDowell (born December 21, 1984) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 34 Ford Mustang for Front Row Motorsports. He has also raced in open-wheel and sports cars. McDowell began his career in open-wheel cars, which included competing in Formula Renault and Champ Car, and in sports cars like the Rolex Sports Car Series and 24 Hours of Daytona. He moved to stock car racing in 2006 and his first Cup Series season came in 2008, the latter of which saw him attract attention for a violent qualifying crash at Texas Motor Speedway.
