Eddie Robinson (soccer)
Eddie Robinson (born June 19, 1978) is an American retired soccer player who played as a center-back. During his playing career, he played in Major League Soccer for the San Jose Earthquakes and the Houston Dynamo. He also earned one cap for the United States national soccer team. Robinson now serves as a color commentator for Dynamo TV broadcasts. Youth and college Born in Orlando, Florida, Robinson grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. He began playing soccer at the age of 5. He played high school soccer at Walter Hines Page Senior High School, where as a senior he was named an NSCAA-Umbro All-American as well as earning All-State and All-South honors. Robinson played college soccer at the University of North Carolina from 1996 to 2000, finishing his career with four goals and eight assists in 73 games. Daniel Benjamin Califf (born March 17, 1980 in Orange, California) is an American retired soccer player. Career Youth and College Califf (pronounced kāl'ĭ-f) started his youth career in soccer for Canyon Hills Soccer Association, playing on the Canyon Classic team coached by his father. He played college soccer at the University of Maryland from 1998 to 2000. Straining of the hamstring, also known as a pulled hamstring, is defined as an excessive stretch or tear of muscle fibers and related tissues. Hamstring injuries are common in athletes participating in many sports. Andrew Gregor (born November 22, 1975) is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in Major League Soccer, the USL First Division, the USL Premier Development League and Major Indoor Soccer League. He is now the assistant head coach of Portland Timbers 2 in the United Soccer League. He began his professional career in the Major League Soccer with the Columbus Crew, but due to restricted appearances at the highest level of American soccer he became a mainstay in the USL First Division, playing in the league for an entire decade.
