Ed Stefanski
Edward Stefanski is an American sports executive and former professional basketball player. He currently is the Senior advisor of the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Career Stefanski grew up in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, attending St. Bernadette's Grade school in Drexel Hill as the star player on both the football and basketball teams. He then attended Monsignor Bonner High School in Upper Darby where he was a "Wall-of Fame" basketball standout at Bonner and then went on to play college basketball, as 'the shot', at the University of Pennsylvania. Stefanski was a 10th round selection of the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1976 NBA draft. In 2014, Stefanski was hired as vice president of player personnel for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Monsignor Bonner High School
Monsignor Bonner High School was an all-male Augustinian Catholic High School in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It was located in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Bonner was created in 1953 as Archbishop Prendergast High School for Boys. In 1955, the current building was constructed, and in 1957 entitled Monsignor Bonner High School. The previously occupied building became the all-female Archbishop Prendergast High School. In 2012, Bonner merged with the all-girls Archbishop Prendergast High School to form Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast High School. Rod Thorn
Rodney King Thorn (born May 23, 1941) is an American basketball executive and a former professional player and coach, Olympic Committee Chairman, with a career spanning over 50 years. In 2018, Thorn was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Early life Thorn attracted nationwide attention after a high school basketball career at Princeton High School in his hometown of Princeton, West Virginia that saw him average more than 30 points per game as a senior. He was a three-time all-state selection and was a two-time High School All-American. Thorn was also a highly regarded high school baseball player, before a head injury took him away from the sport for a time. Billy Matthew King (born January 23, 1966) is an American basketball executive. He is the former general manager of the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers NBA teams, as well as former team president of the 76ers. Early life and education King grew up in Sterling, Virginia where he played basketball at Park View High School. He received a scholarship to play at Duke University and wore jersey number 55. He was known primarily for his tough defense. In his senior season, he served as a captain of Duke's 1988 Final Four team and was named NABC National Defensive Player of The Year.
