Ecstasy (ship)
''Carnival Ecstasy'' (formerly ''Ecstasy'') was a operated by Carnival Cruise Line. Built by Kværner Masa-Yards at its Helsinki New Shipyard in Helsinki, Finland, she was floated out on January 6, 1991, and christened by television hostess, entertainer and long time Carnival spokesperson Kathie Lee Gifford. Her inaugural voyage began on April 2, 1991. During 2007, in common with all of her ''Fantasy''-class sisters, she had the prefix ''Carnival'' added to her name. With the departure of the ''Carnival Fantasy '' as of 2020, the ''Carnival Ecstasy'' became the oldest ship in the fleet. It was soon after announced by Carnival Cruise Line that the Ecstasy would leave the fleet, with her final passenger voyage on Oct 10, 2022. She will be replaced by the Carnival Spirit out of Mobile Alabama sometime in Oct 2023. Princess Cays
Princess Cays is a tourist resort at the southern end of the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas. It is owned by Carnival Corporation, which owns Princess Cruises, among others. Progreso Municipality (In the Spanish language: “progress”) is one of the 106 municipalities in the Mexican state of Yucatán containing (270.10 km2) of land and located roughly 25 km north of the city of Mérida. History Progreso is one of the youngest towns in the Yucatán. Juan Miguel Castro Martín, owner of several sisal haciendas, including an estate called Hacienda San Pedro Chimay was the founder of the Port of Progreso. He began urging development of a new port in 1840 to further the henequen trade. The town was authorized under President Ignacio Comonfort on 25 February 1856 and was officially founded on 1 July 1871 as the Port of Progreso. Cozumel (; yua, Kùutsmil) is an island and municipality in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, opposite Playa del Carmen. ''Carnival Sensation'', initially named ''Sensation'', was a cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She was built in 1993 in Finland and cruised from Florida, USA to ports in the Bahamas and the Caribbean until the COVID-19 pandemic stopped operations in March 2020. Freeport, Bahamas
Freeport is a city, district and free trade zone on the island of Grand Bahama of the northwest Bahamas. In 1955, Wallace Groves, a Virginian financier with lumber interests in Grand Bahama, was granted of pineyard with substantial areas of swamp and scrubland by the Bahamian government with a mandate to economically develop the area. Freeport has grown to become the second most populous city in the Bahamas. The main airport serving the city is the Grand Bahama International Airport, which receives domestic flights from various islands of the Bahamas as well as several international flights from the United States and Canada.
