is a city located in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. Ebino shares borders with Kagoshima Prefecture, Kumamoto Prefecture and Kobayashi, Miyazaki Prefecture. As of June 1, 2019, the city has an estimated population of 18,337 and a population density of 64.8 persons per km². The total area is 282.93 km². Ebino Plateau
Ebino Plateau (えびの高原 ''ebinokōgen'', lit. “Plateau of Shrimp”) is a basin within the Mount Kirishima mountain ranges, situated in southern Kyushu, Japan. It is surrounded by the Mount Shiratori (白鳥山 ''shiratoriayama''), Mount Karakuni (韓国岳 ''karakunidake''), Mount Ebino (蝦野岳 ''ebinodake'') and Mount Koshiki (甑岳 ''koshikidake'') mountain peaks. Environment A field of susuki grass (''Miscanthus sinensis'') is located on the volcanic alluvial fan of the north-western slope of Mount Karakuni, and blooms red in autumn. The occurrence of the characteristic red hue is the result of a number of factors. Ebino Station
is a train station in Ebino, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Kitto Line. Lines The station is served by the Kitto Line and is located 52.0 km from the starting point of the line at . Layout The station consists of an island platform serving two tracks at grade. The station building is the original timber structure in traditional Japanese style from the time the station was opened in 1912 during the Taisho period. It has become unstaffed and now serves only as a waiting room. Access to the island platform is by means of a level crossing with ramps. Parking and a bike shed are available at the forecourt. Kyūshū Expressway
(Asian Highway Network ) is one of the Expressways of Japan from Kitakyūshū (and the bridge to Honshū) to west of Kagoshima linking with the Higashikyushu Expressway and the Ibusuki Skyline. As of June 1, 2019, the city has an estimated population of 44,154 and a population density of 78.4 persons per km². The total area is 562.95 km². Shōchū
is a Japanese distilled beverage. It is typically distilled from rice, barley, sweet potatoes, buckwheat, or brown sugar, though it is sometimes produced from other ingredients such as chestnut, sesame seeds, potatoes, or even carrots. Typically shōchū contains 25% alcohol by volume, which is weaker than baijiu, whiskey or vodka but stronger than huangjiu, sake or wine.
