Eben Burgoon
Eben Burgoon (born 1979) is an American-born comic author and educator best known for the webcomic series Eben 07: Covert Custodian and B-Squad: Soldiers of Misfortune. He is currently working on his independent series, Tiny Wizards with artist, Dean Beattie. Biography Eben Burgoon was raised in San Luis Obispo county and attended San Luis Obispo High School, which was lightly lampooned in his comic work with Eben 07. He attended college at California State University, Chico. He studied international relations and minored in creative writing. He currently lives in Sacramento, California. Impact Burgoon has worked with non-profits, arts organizations, comic book conventions, and educational spaces to promote the joy of creating comics and educate writers of all ages. Eben 07
''Eben07'' is a webcomic written by Eben Burgoon and pencilled, inked, and colored by D.Bethel. Eben07 features the fictional adventures of an espionage janitor named Eben07 and his partner Ninja Dan. Eben07 is story-driven, with twenty- to forty-page issues released one page per week on their website. The first comic was published online on September 7, 2007. Eben07 has been in print publication since late 2009. The website also sells Eben07 print books, T-shirts, and other merchandise. History The character Eben 07 was initially a Bethel's drawing of Eben Burgoon in his high school garage band. Bethel and Burgoon combined Burgoon's love for spy fiction with D.Bethel's drawings and using Burgoon's AOL internet handle of Eben07 created a concept of a high school spy story. Thought Bubble Festival
Thought Bubble (also known as the Yorkshire Comic Art Festival) is an annual comics art festival and comic book convention held in Yorkshire. Established in 2007, Thought Bubble has been credited as being the UK's largest comics convention. The not-for-profit festival's chosen charity is Barnardo's. Thought Bubble takes place for a week in November each year (in conjunction with the Leeds International Film Festival), taking place all over Yorkshire, and culminates in a two-day convention in Harrogate.
