The Paulding County School District is a public school district in Paulding County, Georgia, United States, based in Dallas. It serves the communities of Braswell, Dallas, and Hiram. Schools The Paulding County school district is composed of thirty-five schools as of 2012–13: twenty-one elementary schools, nine middle schools, and five high schools. After the 2011–12 school year, P.B. Ritch Elementary closed and a new middle school with the same name opened near Hiram the following year. In 2017, the school district re-opened the old P.B. Ritch Elementary School facility as the Dianne Wright Innovation Center. The Dianne Wright Innovation Center houses offices for Student Assessment, Professional Learning, School Nutrition, and the Cobb/Paulding Adult Education Center which is operated by the Cobb County School District. Dallas is a city in, and the county seat of, Paulding County, Georgia, United States. The estimated population, as of 2010, was 11,544. Dallas is a northwestern exurb of Atlanta, located approximately from the downtown area. It was named for George M. Dallas, Vice President of the United States, under James K. Polk. Paulding County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. Part of the Atlanta metropolitan area, it had an estimated population of 168,661 in 2020. The county seat is Dallas. History Paulding County was created from Cherokee County by an act of the Georgia General Assembly on December 3, 1832. East Paulding High School
East Paulding High School is a public secondary school located in Dallas, Georgia, United States. EPHS was established in 1991 and is nestled in one of the country's fastest-growing counties. The school's enrollment is approaching 1800 students. Brad Thomason was appointed Principal during the summer of 202 History The school was founded in 1991. Hiram High School
Hiram High School is a public high school in Hiram, Georgia, United States. History The history of a school in the Hiram area goes back a century. The earliest records list teachers working between 1907 and 1913, when a new three-room schoolhouse was built in Hiram. The school burned in 1922. Two years later, in 1924, a new school was built on the present location of Hiram Elementary School. In 1927, C. T. Norton became the principal and the school enrolled 177 pupils, the largest class so far. At that point Hiram was one of just 82 Georgia high schools which were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
