East Macedonia And Thrace
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace ( el, Ανατολική Μακεδονία και Θράκη, translit=Anatolikí Makedonía ke Thráki, ) is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece. It consists of the northeastern parts of the country, comprising the eastern part of the region of Macedonia along with the region of Western Thrace, and the islands of Thasos and Samothrace. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. It is used as a summer daylight saving time in some European and Middle Eastern countries, which makes it the same as Arabia Standard Time, East Africa Time, and Moscow Time. Evros ( el, Περιφερειακή ενότητα Έβρου) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the modern regions of Greece, region of East Macedonia and Thrace. Its name is derived from the river Maritsa, Evros, which appears to have been a Thracians, Thracian hydronym. Evros is the northernmost regional unit. Drama ( el, Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Δράμας, ''Perifereiakí Enótita Drámas'') is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace. The Kallikratis Programme ( el, Πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης, Prógramma Kallikrátis) is the common name of Greek law 3852/2010 of 2010, a major administrative reform in Greece. It brought about the second major reform of the country's administrative divisions following the 1997 Kapodistrias reform.
